Larger boats equipped with a Volvo Penta Z-drive or duoprop need an auxiliary rudder designed to handle the greater displacement and higher steering forces. Ruddersafe Volvo Penta Type 4 is engineered specifically for heavy-duty applications, ensuring complete steerability at slow speeds — including in reverse.
